Nestled in the heart of Veneta, Oregon, Hillbilly Brews Espresso stands out as a vibrant, community-loved coffee shop that offers far more than your typical caffeine fix. Located at 88345 Territorial Hwy, this neighborhood gem specializes in crafting high-quality, thoughtfully made beverages that cater to a wide range of tastes—whether you crave a bold espresso or something delightfully fruity and refreshing.
One of the unmistakable highlights here is the Rockin' Hot Mocha, a drink that captures the perfect harmony between rich, velvety chocolate and robust espresso—comfort in a cup that warms your soul. For those who prefer iced delights, loyal fans rave about the Granita, a blended iced mocha with real espresso that’s smoothly indulgent without being overpowering. It’s no surprise that customers like Jace Harley return nearly every day just for this treat, attesting to the consistently exceptional quality and the friendly, personal touch of the staff—Kiana’s name often comes up as someone who brings that extra spark to the experience.
But Hillbilly Brews Espresso isn’t just about coffee. The menu is impressively diverse and thoughtfully curated, with tempting baked goods that invite a slow, satisfying bite alongside your drink. Imagine fresh, seasonal muffins at just $3.00, moist and flavorful coffee cake swirled with cream cheese and cinnamon, and breads ranging from banana to pumpkin and zucchini—all made with care and perfect for pairing. For a heartier start, the Bacon Breakfast Sandwich on a buttery croissant or the vegetarian frittata offer savory satisfaction without pretension. And for handwritten cravings, there are seasonal scones—marionberry or orange cranberry—and cookies that evoke homemade comfort with every bite.
The beverage options extend well beyond classic coffee shop fare. From sugar-free hot chocolates (including a tantalizing white chocolate version) to Oregon Chai in both hot and iced forms, and even creatively blended Italian sodas and root beer floats, there’s a playful variety that invites exploration. Ashley Dallas, a visitor from Florida, was delighted to find that Hillbilly Brews uses real ground coffee rather than flavored syrups—a distinction that speaks volumes about their commitment to authenticity and quality.
What truly sets Hillbilly Brews apart, however, is its welcoming atmosphere and attentive service. Stephanie McGuire’s words echo a sentiment shared by many: “Never had a bad experience here. Coffee is great and the employees are fun.” Whether you're seeking a comforting Americano on a rainy Christmas Eve, like Richard Morgan did, or a customized sweetness level as appreciated by Mandy Burchfield’s family, this coffee shop goes the extra mile to make everyone feel at home.
In a town where genuine connection and quality sometimes feel elusive, Hillbilly Brews Espresso delivers both in generous measure—making every visit not just a stop for coffee, but a daily dose of warmth, flavor, and genuine community spirit.
Went to the one across the street that isn’t on the maps. Espresso milkshake was awesome. Not too sweet and they use real ground coffee, not espresso syrup for flavor. We don’t have coffee places like this in Florida and I wish we did. Soooo many options on the menu for fruity drinks too, not just coffee. Prices are reasonable for fresh made, quality coffee.
Stopped in, Christmas Eve, got an Americano for my dad, and a Git-er-done for me. They're the same thing I think, because we mixed em up, and couldn't tell em apart, and the both the same price!. It was pouring rain, and we still had hours to go, in our drive. Everything worked out great, thank you Hill Billy Brews.

Shout out to Kiana! ( hope that spelling is remotely close, I know how it is having a unique name). I've gone to Hillybilly brews almost every day since I've moved here. Everytime it's the same order for me. The Granita is a blended, iced Mocha, with expresso. Delicious. All the employees are great, but there's something about her service and the way she whips up a Granita that's out of this world! Why go to a Starbucks when you can get better quality here?!?!
Hillbilly has been our favorite coffee shop for a long time. We are always pleased with both the quality and service. They make drinks sweeter for those in my family who like that and have a lot of great options for everyone!
